Session Policies

Session Time

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times. Arriving late does not extend the session. Setup, recording, breakdown, file preparation, and any other session-related activity must be completed within the reserved time.

Deposits and Payment

A 25% deposit is required to confirm paid reservations. The remaining balance must be paid before any files are sent.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a refund of the deposit. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the session will result in forfeiture of the deposit. A client who has not arrived or contacted Aura Studios & Co within 30 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show and will forfeit the deposit. A late arrival that occurs before the 30-minute no-show threshold does not extend the scheduled end time.

Additional Time

Session extensions are subject to studio and engineer availability. Additional time must be approved and added to the reservation before continuing beyond the scheduled end time. Additional time will be charged at the applicable rate.

Guests

A maximum of four people total, including the person who booked the session, may be present unless Aura Studios & Co approves otherwise in advance.

Smoking, Vaping, and Substances

Smoking, marijuana use, and illegal drug use are not permitted inside the studio or facility. Vaping is permitted. Anyone engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be required to leave.

Food and Drinks

Drinks are permitted when kept in closed containers or containers with lids. Food and drinks must be kept away from computers, recording equipment, control surfaces, and other sensitive equipment.

Studio Equipment

Studio equipment must be treated with care. Equipment may not be removed, disconnected, rerouted, or modified without authorization from Aura Studios & Co. The person making the reservation is responsible for damage or missing equipment caused by themselves or their guests beyond normal wear and tear.

Conduct

Fighting, threats, harassment, reckless behavior, or other conduct that creates a safety risk or threatens studio property will not be tolerated. Aura Studios & Co may terminate a session for serious violations of studio policies.

Session Files and Storage

Clients are responsible for requesting and saving any session files, stems, mixes, masters, or other materials they wish to keep. Final files or deliverables will not be released until the applicable session balance has been paid in full.

Aura Studios & Co does not provide permanent file storage. Session data may be removed from studio systems after 90 days. Clients should obtain and maintain their own copies of all important files before that period expires.

Cleanliness

Clients and guests are expected to respect the studio and dispose of trash before leaving. Sessions should leave the room in reasonable condition for the next booking.

Security Cameras

Security cameras operate within the studio and other areas of the facility for safety, security, access control, and protection of property. Additional security cameras may be operated by building management.
